Day-wise Itinerary
Arrive Jaisalmer - Golden City and Sunset Camel Safari
Arrive at Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station. Meet our representative and transfer to your heritage hotel. Afternoon visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the few living forts in the world. Explore the narrow lanes, Jain temples, and the Maharaja's Palace Museum. Visit Patwon Ki Haveli - a cluster of five beautifully carved havelis built by a wealthy merchant family. Visit Gadisar Lake - a scenic man-made reservoir surrounded by temples and shrines. Evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes (45 kms, approx 1 hour). Enjoy a camel safari over the rolling sand dunes as the sun sets. Return to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner with folk dance and music performance around a campfire. Overnight stay at the desert camp.
Kuldhara Ghost Town and Bada Bagh Cenotaphs
Morning after breakfast, visit the abandoned village of Kuldhara (18 kms, approx 30 minutes) - a mysterious ghost town that was abandoned overnight by its residents over 200 years ago. Explore the ruins and hear the legends associated with the village. Return to Jaisalmer. Visit Bada Bagh (6 kms) - a royal cenotaph complex with stunning chhatris (domed pavilions) of the Jaisalmer rulers, offering panoramic views of the desert landscape. Afternoon visit the Desert Culture Centre and Museum to learn about the history, culture, and traditions of the Thar Desert. Visit the local markets for handicrafts, mirror work, and traditional Rajasthani textiles. Evening enjoy a cultural performance or return to the desert camp for a quiet evening under the stars. Overnight stay at the desert camp or heritage hotel in Jaisalmer.

Morning after breakfast, check out from the desert camp or hotel. If time permits, visit the Jaisalmer Fort again for a final walk through its ancient lanes or explore the local markets for last-minute souvenirs. Afternoon transfer to Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
